Our General Dentistry Services
General Dentistry Services In Wenatchee
Our dentist in Wenatchee always performs new patient and routine check-up exams himself. Using modern technology, he examines your teeth and gums for any signs of problems. Next, he may take some x-rays and will share his findings with you. Dr. Michael always listens to your concerns and does his best to answer any questions you may have. After your exam, we put together a treatment plan and schedule you in for your next visit.
Gum disease is truly awful with links to heart disease, cancer, and other ailments. If you have gum disease, then you need LANAP. This is a particular protocol to treat gum disease with the Periolase, the only FDA approved laser. Our office is the only one in Central Washington and Spokane to have one.
Our practice has a strong emphasis on prevention. The best way to minimize dental problems is to get your teeth cleaned by our fantastic hygienist every six months. We use modern technologies such as Carifee, Fluor Protection, and Velscope to ensure good oral and overall health.
This is a huge part of our practice. For starters, if you have an emergency we will see you TODAY. Broken teeth are common emergencies, and we will make you a beautiful CEREC® crown in one appointment, relieving your pain and ensuring your smile looks beautiful again!
I really am impressed with your style of caring and PR work—it makes “having” to go to the dentist a nicer experience. It has always been the last thing I wanted to do!

We believe incorporating healthy habits at an early age is very important. To do this, we go above and beyond to make your child's dental visit a positive and fun experience. We'll get down to their level to educate them on the importance of preventive care. Want to keep them distracted while sitting in our waiting room?Download our free coloring sheet!
General dentistry has better options to replace missing teeth! Implants can be placed by an oral surgeon where a tooth root used to be, and then we install a CEREC® crown in one appointment. If the missing tooth has neighboring teeth on either side, then another option could be bridges or crowns.
Nightguards could be considered “anti-invasive” because they prevent further loss of tooth structure from continued wear. People who grind their teeth at night can severely damage their smiles. We use the NTI Appliance for nightguards, which prevents grinding completely in 85% of patients.
Dr. Tom K. Michael has not placed a mercury filling in well over 20 years. We are metal and mercury-free, using only the finest tooth-colored composite filling materials. These materials are beautiful, add strength back to the tooth, and typically enable a far less invasive treatment.
